Gary LuDirector

Gary Lu is based in Shanghai, joined Warburg Pincus in 2025, and is a Director in the Real Estate group. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Gary worked at Golden Union Assets, where he supported the China Real Estate team as the CFO responsible for the overall financial management of the platform and assets. Prior to that, he was also a CFO at Jingrui Capital, where he was responsible for the financial management covering rental apartments, office buildings, and commercial complexes. He also held various Finance Director roles at SCE Group Funlive, a venture focused on developing and managing long-term rental apartment projects/properties in China and at Charoen Pokphand Group. Gary has a master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
