Vishal Mahadevia is a Managing Director, Head of Asia Private Equity and Global Co-Head of Financial Services, and a member of the Executive Committee and Executive Management Group at Warburg Pincus. Vishal is also a Director of IDFC First Bank Limited and Apollo Tyres Limited. He serves on the International Advisory Board of Center for the Advanced Study of India, the Board of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, and the India Regional Board of Room to Read. He received a BS in Economics with a concentration in Finance and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
