Vishnu Menon is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus in 2005, and is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Partnership Solutions. He also focuses on direct investments in the software and media sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he worked at TPG Capital and Perry Capital focusing on investments in public and private technology and media companies. Prior to that, he worked at Symphony Technology Group, J.P. Morgan Capital, and Bain focusing on investments in similar sectors. Vishnu is currently a Director of Varicent and Salsify. Vishnu also co-led recent investments in Big Brand Tire Service, Experity, Docebo, Cargomatic, and Salsify. He has been historically responsible for a number of other investments including Modernizing Medicine, Neogov, TurnItIn (formerly iParadigms), Samsara, Intelligent Medical Objects, A Place for Mom, Dude Solutions, Slickdeals, and Bankrate. He received a BA with distinction in International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
