Sanjay Dholakia is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus in 2022, after working with the firm as a Senior Operating Advisor for the prior three years, and is a Senior Vice President. Sanjay most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for Marketo, through its growth phase, IPO, and acquisition by Vista Equity Partners. He previously held go-to-market leadership roles, ranging from GM to CEO to CMO at enterprise software companies SumTotal Systems, Crowd Factory, and Lithium Technologies. Sanjay began his career as an advisor at McKinsey & Company and Anderson Consulting. He holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
