Roeland SmeetsFinance Director

Roeland Smeets is based in Amsterdam and joined Warburg Pincus in 2019. He is a Finance Director in the global SPE group where he manages the investment, finance and treasury operations of the Dutch investment platform. Previously, Roeland was a Director in the Transaction Advisory Group at Alvarez & Marsal and a Senior Manager in the M&A Transaction Advisory practice at Deloitte. He also spent two years in Corporate M&A. He holds a master’s degrees in Business Economics (Finance and Accounting) and Fiscal Economics (International tax law and Corporate income tax) from the University of Maastricht. Roeland is a Chartered Accountant (RA) and a member of the Royal Dutch Institute of Chartered Accountants.
