Michael DingPrincipal

Michael Ding is based in San Francisco, joined Warburg Pincus in 2015, and leads the firm’s investment activities across healthcare technology, artificial intelligence, electronic payments, digital commerce infrastructure, automotive technology and intellectual property licensing. He is a Board Director of DriveCentric, Full Sail IP Partners, Salsify, Qualifacts, WebPT, Experity and Modernizing Medicine. He previously also served as a Board Director at Procare Solutions. Prior to Warburg Pincus, he worked in Private Equity investing at TPG Capital in San Francisco and Public Equity investing at Viking Global Investors in New York. Michael began his career at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division. He received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated valedictorian, as well as his BS in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University.
