James O’Gara is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Financial Services team in Europe. He joined the firm in 2014 and is based in London. James led the firm’s investments in the AA, McGill and Partners, and Specialist Risk Group, and has also been involved with Warburg Pincus’ investments in Evelyn Partners, Blau Direkt, Max, Allfunds, IONOS, Santander Asset Management, Source, and DBRS. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, James was an investment professional at H.I.G. Capital. He received a BS in Business Administration from Georgetown University and an MBA from London Business School.
