Gopi Chelliah is based in London, joined Warburg Pincus in 2017, and his focus is on all sector investments. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he has been a Senior Financial Services Industry Executive with over 30 years in IT, operations strategy, and delivery. In the last 10 years, he has been CIO/COO and part of the Executive Management team of three separate private equity backed companies. He has been a Global Head of Equities IT at UBS, CIO Global Cross Business Technology and Operations at Deutsche Bank, and COO at ING Wholesale Bank. He received a BSc in Electronic Engineering and is an Associate of Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA).
