Ellen NgManaging Director, Co-Head of Asia Real Estate

Ellen Ng serves as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Asia Real Estate at Warburg Pincus. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Management Group and leads the firm’s real estate activities in Asia. Under her leadership, Warburg Pincus has been recognized by Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) in recent years as ‘Data Centers Investor of the Year in Asia’, ‘Firm of the Year in Asia’, ‘Capital Raise of the Year in Asia’, and ‘Firm of the Year in China’.

Ellen currently serves on the boards of several portfolio companies across the industrial, living and data center sectors. She also serves as Global Co-Head of Women@Warburg, which is dedicated to fostering a sense of community and inclusion and supporting the advancement of women at the firm through development, empowerment and connection. She was also recognized as one of PEI’s 2024 Women of Influence in Private Markets.

Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Ellen worked at Merrill Lynch in the Investment Banking Division, focusing on corporate finance transactions across Asia. She received a BSc in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
