David VignesManaging Director
David Vignes is a Managing Director based in New York. He joined Warburg Pincus as a Senior Advisor in 2022. He previously served as the Chief Performance Officer for Summit CityMD where he focused on strategy and was involved in the sale of the company to Walgreens in 2023. David is an expert in enhancing value across business units including identifying and standardizing best practices to improve bottom line as well as leveraging technologies, systems, and procedures across all business units. David was previously President of Remarketing Services for KAR Global where he oversaw KAR’s remarketing services, which aligns the company’s AutoVIN, Dent Demon, AuctionTrac, High Tech Locksmiths, and PAR North America, businesses. He also led KAR’s enterprise safety and security efforts, a program nationally recognized and adopted by the entire remarketing industry. David joined KAR in 2007 as SVP of operations and strategic improvement. He was promoted to EVP of strategic improvement and logistics in 2008 and then EVP Enterprise Optimization in 2010. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President for Steiner Entertainment, a master planning firm in Columbus, Ohio. David also spent more than 15 years, both in Europe and the United States, with the Walt Disney Corporation. During this time, he held several executive positions in finance and operations with Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, and the Disney Cruise Line. David has more than 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, enhancing operations, cost management, and optimization of customer values. He is a former Lieutenant in France’s Air Force. In 2008, David was nominated by the French Prime Minister as an Economic Adviser for the French trade commission. In 2013, he was nominated Director to the board of DRAYER Physical Therapy Institute. In 2018, he was appointed as an Advisor to the Board of CityMD. He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the CNAM in Paris, France and an MBA from the University of Florida.
