Daniel KanakManaging Director

Daniel Kanak is based in New York, re-joined Warburg Pincus in 2022, and is a Managing Director in the Fundraising and Investor Relations group. Prior to re-joining Warburg Pincus, Daniel was Managing Director at Nordic Capital where he co-led fundraising and investor relations for the Americas, based in New York, and led Asia Pacific and the Middle East fundraising and investor relations, based in London. He also co-led Nordic Capital’s global co-investment program. Daniel previously worked for Warburg Pincus in Hong Kong (2017-2019) as an Executive Director of Fundraising & Investor Relations. Prior to Warburg Pincus, he co-founded and exited a German fitness company. Prior to that, he worked in the fund, co-investment, and secondaries investment team at Temasek in Singapore and in London. Daniel began his career at Goldman Sachs & Company in New York. He is a Member of the Young Leaders Circle at the Milken Institute and member of the International Advisory Board and Young Leaders Council (YLC) at Columbia College. Daniel holds a BA with distinction from Columbia University in New York.
