Carl Ludwig von Baumbach is based in Berlin, joined Warburg Pincus in 2017 (based in London until 2023) and focuses on software and technology investments. He was actively involved in the firm’s investments in avaloq, Scandit, IONOS, inexio, IPAN, Blue Yonder, Inspired Education and Inmarsat. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Carl worked at Goldman Sachs in the TMT and Healthcare M&A Advisory Groups in London. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany and also studied at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
