Benny MelumadManaging Director, Digital Strategy & Innovation

Benny Melumad is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 2020 and is a Managing Director in the Digital Strategy & Innovation group. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he was the Chief Technology Officer at BluJay Solutions, a supply chain management software company. Prior to joining BluJay Solutions, Benny worked at Vista Consulting Group, the operating arm of Vista Equity Partners, where he was responsible for technology diligence with potential investments as well as overseeing the technology function within Vista’s portfolio companies. In that role he was responsible for transforming technology initiatives in product development and building highly functional technology teams. During his tenure at Vista, he served as a CTO for two of its companies, MicroEdge (acquired by Blackbaud) and Social Solutions. Benny started his career as a Software Developer, working for several financial and startup companies. He received a BA in Economics with a Computer Science major from the College of Management in Tel-Aviv, and MBA in Finance from Baruch College.
