KIO JV

KIO JV is a joint venture established by Warburg Pincus and KIO, an Australian real asset manager led by Sam Bisla, a veteran of the Australian BTR sector. Launched with an initial equity commitment from Warburg Pincus, the joint venture is focused on investing, developing, and operating residential rental projects across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane to cater to the growing demand for rental housing. The venture is seeded with three high-quality projects, including a build-to-rent projects in Melbourne and Brisbane and a studio-living development in Sydney. Warburg Pincus made this investment from Warburg Pincus Asia Real Estate Fund.
