Biba, headquartered in New Delhi, is a leading designer, manufacturer and retailer of women's ethnic apparel in India. The Company has emerged as one of India's leading brands in women's ethnic wear, catering to a mid to mid-premium income consumer and focusing largely on daily/evening wear. Biba's women-only product line consists of Indian suits (Salwar Kameez Dupattas), separate tops and bottoms (Mix n' Match), a girls line for ages 2-12 and unstitched fabrics. Biba retails through more than 300 exclusive brand outlets and through approximately 500 department store outlets. The Company was started in 1986 by Meena Bindra, and is now run by her son, Siddharath Bindra. Warburg Pincus invested in Biba in 2013.
