Dan ZamlongManaging Director

Dan Zamlong is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 2002, and is part of the industrials team. He leads the firm’s investments in the aerospace & defense, industrial technology and specialty chemical sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he was with the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and the Technology Mergers and Acquisitions group at Credit Suisse. He is a Director of Aquila Air Capital, Consolidated Precision Products, Duravant, iNRCORE, Pregis, and Sundyne. He was previously involved with the firm’s investments in TransDigm Group, Extant Aerospace, The Neiman Marcus Group, Aramark Corporation, Wencor Group, among others. Dan is also currently Board Chairman of New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (NYPACE), a non-profit consulting organization assisting entrepreneurs from under-resourced backgrounds, and an Advisory Board Member of the New York Private Equity Network. He received a BS in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
