Shari TepperManaging Director, Head of Tax

Shari Tepper is based in New York, joined Warburg Pincus in 2021, and is a Managing Director in the Accounting and Finance Group. She is responsible for coordinating global tax structuring across the firm’s investment portfolio and related reporting matters. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, she was a Partner in Ernst & Young’s ITTS practice where, among other things, she specialized in structuring private equity investments. Shari’s capabilities extend across a broad range of international transactions and acquisitions, including LBOs, mergers, recapitalizations, restructurings, capital market transactions, and financings. Shari received a BS in Business Administration and a JD degree from Boston University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs.
