Warburg Pincus Honored as ‘Data Centers Investor of the Year in Asia’ in PERE Awards 2022 Mar 2, 2023
Warburg Pincus was recognized as ‘Data Centers Investor of the Year in Asia’ by Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) for 2022. Over the past couple of years, the firm has also received multiple key PERE awards including ‘Firm of the Year in Asia’, ‘Capital Raise of the Year in Asia’, and ‘Firm of the Year in China’. In addition, Warburg Pincus’ portfolio company DNE Group was honored as ‘Firm of the Year in China’ in the PERE Awards 2022.
The PERE awards recognize the year's most outstanding investors, managers and individuals, which are highly respected across the globe.
Warburg Pincus is one of the largest and most active investors in data centers in Asia. Our selected investments include leading players such as Princeton Digital Group (PDG) and Bohao. PDG is a leading pan-Asia data center platform with a total capacity of more than 600 MW by developing and operating data center infrastructure in the dynamic digital economies of Asia including China, Singapore, India, Indonesia, and Japan. Last year, Warburg Pincus co-led the series B financing for Bohao, a leading internet data center developer and operator in China with a total capacity of nearly 500 MW.
