Max FowinkelManaging Director

Max Fowinkel (Managing Director) is based in Berlin, joined Warburg Pincus in 2007, and was based in London until 2019. He is a Director on the (Advisory) Board of T-Mobile Netherlands, Community Fibre, Inmarsat, Blau Direkt, Infoniqa, Oyana, and McMakler. He was also involved in the firm’s investments in IONOS by 1&1, HYP, MAX (known as Leumi Card before Warburg Pincus’ investment), inexio, IPAN, Network International, Accelya, easycash, MACH, Evenex, Blue Yonder, and United Internet. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at McKinsey & Company. Max holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and Business Administration from Technische Universität Berlin, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
