Julian ChengManaging Director, Co-Head of China
Julian Cheng is a Managing Director, Co-Head of China, and member of the Executive Management group at Warburg Pincus. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus in 2000, Julian worked in Investment Banking with Salomon Smith Barney and Bankers Trust. He has led and served on the Board of past and current China investments including 58.com and co-founded RDA Microelectronics (acquired by Tsinghua Unigroup). He also serves on the Board of Trustees and Asia Council of St. Paul’s School and the Board of Trustees of The Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art. Julian received a BA from Harvard University.
